OVERVIEW

The Techno Intro requires average Macromedia Flash skills to customize the pictures & logo.

TEXT CUSTOMIZATION

To modify all content just edit the TXT included in ZIP archive.
You may use NotePad or any text editor.

&variable=your info
&variable2=your info2
&etc.

You can't change the variable names, only the values. For example :

sitename=Party Party
&info1=Saturday
&info2=Nights
&service1=Music
&service2=DJ
&service3=Drinks
&hello=DON'T
&hello2=MISS IT
&slogan=Welcome!
&enterlink=mypage.html

You may replace "mypage.html" with the actual URL of your website. A few tips :

- Do not rename the TXT file.
- Encode special characters (ex : & ' %) using the following encoding : Macromedia URL Encoding

IMAGE REPLACEMENT

Download Macromedia Flash MX and open ds987.fla.

Open the Library (Window/Library - Ctrl-L). Find the symbol "images". Right-Click and Edit this Symbol.

You will see 8 sets of keyframes. Unlock the layer by clicking on the small lock next to the layer name. On each of them there is a picture, and the pictures are
displayed randomly when the movie is played, then image #1 stops on frame 1, image #2 on frame 2... On each keyframe replace the picture by importing your own (File/Import - Ctrl-R).

File/Publish your movie to see the changes in the browser.

LOGO REPLACEMENT

There are two places in the source where the logo needs to be placed. Both described below with screenshots :

1. Open the Scene Editor located at Window/Design Panels/Scene (SHIFT-F2). Hit the "loading sequence" scene.

Next, unlock the "logo" layer if necessary and File/Import your own logo. You may move the LOADING text to make more space for your logo, or even remove the 'logo here' box by selecting it and hitting the DEL key.
Import your logo and position it over the sample box.

2. Open the Library (Window/Library - Ctrl-L). Find the symbol "final". Right-Click and Edit this Symbol.
Simply File/Import your own logo and position it over the logo box as shown in the screenshot. File/Publish your movie to see the changes in the browser.

MUSIC/SOUND LOOP REPLACEMENT

Click on the keyframes illustrated in the image above. You may select, right-click, "remove Keyframes". Import your own loop or music file (File/Import).

Click on any keyframe, and in the Properties panel (Window/Properties - CTRL-F3) you can select the name of the imported sound. File/Publish your movie to see the changes in the browser.
