OVERVIEW

Spiky template doesn't require flash knowledge to change text. But it requires flash knowledge to change the pictures and logo.

TEXT CUSTOMIZATION

To modify all content just edit the TXT files included in ZIP archive.
You may use NotePad or any text editor.

&variable=your info
&variable2=your info2
&etc.

You can't change the variable names, only the values. For example :

sitename=YOUR SITE NAME
&address=YOURSITE.COM
&button_name1=BUTTON1
&button_name2=BUTTON2
&button_name3=BUTTON3

A few tips :

- Do not rename the TXT file.
- Find out which HTML tags can be used : Macromedia HTML text formatting
- Encode special characters (ex : & ' %) using the following encoding : Macromedia URL Encoding

IMAGE REPLACEMENT

Download Macromedia Flash MX and open the file "ds983.fla".

Open the Library (Window/Library - Ctrl-L). Right-Click "MOV_content" and Edit this Symbol.
There is a picture on each keyframe (we can clearly see the 5 sections on layer "pictures" > screenshot). What we need to do is click on every keyframe and insert our image (see next step).
Select the following image slot and Right-Click/Cut it from the Stage. File/Import your own image and place it there. You need to do this for all the sections.
File/Publish your movie and start the site.html page to see the results.

LOGO REPLACEMENT

Download Macromedia Flash MX and open the file "ds983.fla".

Go to File > Import to import your own logo. Place it over the default logo.

Now you can File/Publish your movie and start the site.html to see the results.
