OVERVIEW

The Hip Website requires flash knowledge to customize pictures.

TEXT CUSTOMIZATION

To modify all content just edit the TXT files included in ZIP archive.
You may use NotePad or any text editor.

&variable=your info
&variable2=your info2
&etc.

You can't change the variable names, only the values. For example :

&sitename=SITE NAME
&address=yoursite.com
&content1=Some html tags can be used to make the text bold, italic or link to other pages or files.
&content2=This is italic text, aligned to the left..
&content3=This is regular text, centered..
&content4=<a href="http://www.prestyle.com">This is a link</a>
&content5=<a href="mailto:myemail@hotmail.com">This is an email</a>
&button1=Button 1
&button2=Button 2
&button3=Button 3
&button4=Button 4
&button5=Button 5

You may rename "yourpage.html" to the actual URL of your website.

A few tips :

- Do not rename the TXT file.
- Find out which HTML tags can be used : Macromedia HTML text formatting
- Encode special characters (ex : & ' %) using the following encoding : Macromedia URL Encoding

IMAGE REPLACEMENT

Download Macromedia Flash MX and open ds969.fla.

Open the Library (Window/Library - Ctrl-L). Find the images :

image4
image5
image4 (thumbnail)

Right-click each one of them, choose Properties and click on the button
"Import...". Import your own images to replace the default.

If the pictures don't appear or aren't positioned correctly, follow the steps below...

In the Library, find these instances :

content
image_preview

Right-click/Edit each on of these instances and place the pictures you imported
correctly on each frame of these instances.

Now you can File > Publish your movie and start the index.html to see the results.

CHANGE MUSIC FOR EACH SECTION

Simply replace the MP3 music files that came with the template. Make sure you upload them in the same folder as the SWF and the rest of the files.
