OVERVIEW

The Teen Flash Site doesn't require flash knowledge to change text. It requires some flash knowledge to change pictures.

TEXT CUSTOMIZATION

To modify all content just edit the TXT files included in ZIP archive.
You may use NotePad or any text editor.

&variable=your info
&variable2=your info2
&etc.

You can't change the variable names, only the values. For example :

news=News
&homeText=section1
&section2=section2
&section3=section3
&section4=section4
&section5=section5
&section6=section6

A few tips :

- Do not rename the TXT file.
- Find out which HTML tags can be used : Macromedia HTML text formatting
- Encode special characters (ex : & % +) using the following encoding : Macromedia URL Encoding

IMAGE REPLACEMENT

Download Macromedia Flash MX (trial) from macromedia.com and open the file "section4.fla".

IMPORTANT : If you get a "fonts missing" error install all the fonts from the /FONTS/ directory included with the template.

Right-click on the picture and "cut" it from the Stage.

In the top menu, go to File/Import/Import to Stage. Choose your image for section 4 and click OK. Now, carefully position the image on its place. Go to File/Publish to update the SWF file and you can start the index.html to test in a browser.

Use the same technique for the rest of the site (all the section _ .fla files)
